Product Recall Procedure

At Hidalgo Bags & More, product safety is our top priority. When we receive a report about a potentially unsafe or defective product, it is immediately assessed by management.

If necessary, a Recall Team is formed, consisting of management, the responsible account manager, and the buyer. This team investigates the nature of the problem, the origin of the product, and where the products in question are located. All relevant information is recorded in our order and ERP system.

Based on this investigation, it is determined whether a corrective measure or product recall is necessary. In doing so, we follow the applicable laws and regulations and, if applicable, the guidelines of the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA). Involved customers, suppliers, and other relevant parties are informed in a timely and transparent manner.

When products are already with end users, we ensure clear communication and an appropriate solution, such as return, replacement, or another corrective measure.

After completion of a recall, we evaluate the process to prevent recurrence and continuously improve our procedures.

Because printed products are made especially for you, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply and returns are not possible, unless the product does not conform to the agreement.
